Like the previous years, the annual feast of the monastery will be especially celebrated and will follow in the next order.

The beginning is on 14.08.2018. Tuesday:
 
17:00. - a little vesper.
17: 45h. - Dinner.
20: 00h. - the beginning of the great vesper (vigil).
About 23:30 - a short break with a treat.

About 00: 00h. - the beginning of the matins.
About 03:00. End of the matins. Interruption of vigil. Holiday.
8:30. - 3rd and 6th hour and the beginning of the Holy Liturgy.
11: 30h. - a small treat in the monastery's archondarica
12: 30h. - lunch.
 
The abbot of the monastery, archimandrite Samuel and the monastery brotherhood, invite all Orthodox Christians who have the opportunity and desire to share the liturgical joy of the feast of our Mother of heaven.

The monastic fraternity constantly makes every endeavor to maintain the Cloister of the Holy Virgin at its best condition; this is the condition the cloister really deserves to be in, in order to welcome the thousands of pilgrims that visit it every year, truly beautifully and impress them.
The maintenance of the fund and the restoration of the many unique frescoes, inherited by the holy forefathers, could be quite costly and the monastery does not always manage to cover all the expenses. For this very reason, we turn for help to every Christian and to everyone who values the Bachkovo monastery, to contribute within their means and thus join our efforts.
