Easter in the Bachkovo monastery
 
Christ is risen!
 
With the greeting of hope and salvation, the abbot of the monastery, arhim.Simon residing in the monastery Mesemvria Bishop James, monastery brotherhood has greeted the Orthodox people that filled the courtyard of the Bachkovo monastery in anticipation of the light and salvation of Christ's resurrection!
 
Christ is risen! - In these two words is the whole basis of our life and our future! They are cause of whole Christian world and in them it will find his resolution! In them is the most profound essence of our beings!
 
Christ is Risen, smertiyu smert poprav(with his death He has corrected the Death)!, Jesus corrected death and freed us from the most severe burdens of our life, let's not forget that being immersed in our daily lives and observing the law of love given to us by Him to go through waves of this world, reaching the other, where we can enjoy direct contemplation of Him, the Risen Son of Man!
 
After a joyful Easter greeting, arhim.Simon read Easter patriarchal and synodal message to the laity and offered a prayer for salvation from all evil and distress of Bulgarian people. Brotherhood goes round the cathedral church of the monastery in solemn procession with the accompaniment of Angel singing of the choir.  The west gates of the church were opened to welcome the King of glory!
 
The traditional Liturgy of St.Basil the Great was celebrated in the temple.
